Somewhere during The Diamond Quartet (1995), Travis, Chris, and Tom took a bunch of mushrooms and acid, got high, drunk, and a couple months later had formed The New Accelerator which basically was a vehicle for blowing off the incredible amount of steam one can accumulate living in Missouri without any money or prospects. It was what it was. The cd ends with a mysterious performance from Starbuck which was taken off a cheap tape recording found lying on the floor of Apop Hq.
